With beautiful views, amazing spring wildflowers, and a relatively short effort, this is one of the most popular hikes in the Gorge. On a good day, you can get a view of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River.

Activity Notes

I would like to create an Earth Day Clean up the trash hike.  This trail gets used a lot and it is one that could use a bit of extra love.  WE could also carry dog poop bags and extra water bottles if it a warm day.  Trail Ambassadors program tries to work this trailhead.

In order to carpool I would like to meet at Parkrose/Sumner Transit Center off Sandy Blvd Exit in Portland, Or.  It is not listed on meeting places

We will also need to see about permit requirements this day for clean up due to wildflower season
