This is a full day in the field practicing rock skills. Held at Horsethief Butte, you'll get the opportunity to apply the skills you learned indoors on actual rock. The day will include movement basics, belaying, rappelling, traversing, fixed line travel, and more.

Activity Notes

Here is our opportunity to put your recently learned rock climbing skills to the test on real rock.  You will practice belaying techniques, climbing techniques, commands, rappelling techniques, fixed line prussiking, and probably a myriad of other cool skillz you will love.  Rock weekend is my favorite weekend in BCEP and you are about to find out why!
