Governor's Ridge, Owyhigh Lakes

Activity Notes

This is an exploratory climb. Participants should expect route finding issues, ambiguity and adventurous confusion.  Much of this route is off trail (but above treeline) requiring some GPS / compass navigating.

All applicants should have BCEP or equivalent and at least 3 previous climbs / scrambles on rock.  This climb is NOT a good first climb for a recent BCEP graduate.

8/8 PM: drive to Mt Rainier National Park.  We will camp the night before the climb, location TBD

8/9 AM: we will climb Governor's Ridge and return to the cars.  We should be down in late afternoon for the drive home.
